Q&A–: Are there any plus size clothing stores for women in Morocco?
I am coming to Morocco in a few weeks. I will be staying two weeks in Marrakech and will travel around a bit. I will be in Casablanca for a few days. Does anyone know if there are any clothing stores for plus size women in Marrakech or Casablanca?

Not everyone in morocco is tiny… i’ve not been there yet, but I’ve seen quite a few moroccan women that are larger than I am, I don’t wear plus size clothing but almost — I’m gonna be watching this question, because sizes there are so much different than in the USA I’d like to know too

I’ve never seen a store that is exclusively for plus size clothing here….of course I haven’t seen every store. I think the probability is quite low to find a store like this. Surely you can find items here and there that will fit plus size women but an entire store, not likely.
I think most women that need large clothes (not just size 20 or something but bigger) probably need to have some things made by a local tailor.

I didn’t see any plus size clothing stores and didn’t even see any plus size clothing in any stores or souks. Most women who are plus size either make their own clothes or go to a tailor. If you go to a souk and want to buy a djelleba for example they will take your measurements and make one for you, but it can be a bit expensive. If you’re wanting something for a souvenir you can find some t-shirts in larger sizes, but not more than an x-large.

There is no specific Plus size stores but you can enter to any regular clothing store and ask them if they carry your size.

I saw one shop in el-jadida where I stayed..but most of the clothes for plus size women are really ugly..like big florals & baggy. Thats normal clothes, if you are looking for traditional moroccan clothes your in luck they sell jellabas & kaftans in almost any size : )

Not sure exactly what you will find if you try to buy wholesale ready made clothes. I guess the choice could be very limited.
