Make up is good to enhance your beauty, not cover up anything weirdly.
Try googling a lot of this stuff!
Youtube has A LOOOTTT of videos to help out make up beginners, etc. There are tutorials, and a lot of more stuff.
Also, a lot of information like which affordable drugstore products are good. Look them up on youtube! I’ve gained so much knowledge from them. They’re so helpful and nice.

Personally I think 13 is too young to be wearing so much makeup. I’d say its just the right age to wear very minimal makeup.
Keep it simple. Let your skin breath.
Firstly you say you have acne and want your skin to look better. Dont make it so that you rely on makeup to make your skin look flawless, You need to feel confident in the skin your in. So to help your acne you need to find a skincare routine to help control it. And Im not gonna lie and say its pretty easy. Sometimes people can find a skincare routine that can work for their skin first time, whereas others it will take a couple buys or as others will take years. Honestly, it took me over a year to find a skincare routine that worked for my skin, but im still looking for a better one. So its not as simple as it sounds. All you need is a cleanser, toner, moisturiser and exfoliator, perhaps some spot control. Try the doctos for your acne if you havent already. If not go into a drugstore and look for skincare products for your skintype if you dont know what to find ask for assistance (: A couple skincare brands on the cheaper side that work for a lot of people are: AMIE (amazing stuff helps with acne and is great for teenage skin) – LUSH (natural skincare products that work great fior most people found at a lush store or lush.com/lush.co.uk) – SIMPLE (some reccommend) – CLEAN&CLEAR – and – NEUTROGENA. Trust me. Or if you can spend the extra money go to clinique and have them find you a routine that works for your skintype. But be warned clinique doesnt work for everyone. It didnt really work for me but it doesnt work for most people. Once you have your skincare routine sorted out, which I assure is way more important than makeup and most people will agree with me, is to use makeup if you like.
I would use a concealer, maybe some powder, mascara and lipgloss. I’d use drugstore makeup unless you can afford or want to use highend, i reccommend benefit, nars and mac highend stuff. Otherwise drugstore products I reccommend:
Concealer – Maybelliene Pure Mineral Concealer
Powder – L’oreal True Match Powder
Mascara – Maybeliene collosal, falsies or big lash, or l’oreal telescopic clean definition
Lipgloss – Boujois 3d max effect lipgloss or miss sporty hollywood lipglosses
Other products you mentioned I reccommend/thoughts:
Eyeliner – Personally I dont like liner on younger girls but if its what you want dont waste your money or time on pencil eyeliner on the upper lash line. Trust me its a mistake it looks horrible. If you really want to wear eyeliner this is how I think it looks best applied:
Upper lash line – Black liquid/gel liner, from inner corner to outer corned slight winged. I like either the l’oreal hip gel liner or l’oreal carbon gloss liquid liner.
Lower WATER line – Black pencil liner – i like either mac kohl liners or rimmel london kajall soft kohl liner pencils.
Eyeshadow – i dont like eyeshadow at your age sorry
Hope I helped (:

I think there is a difference between looking like a make-up freak and a make-up natural-beauty, and I’m guessing you want to acheive the natural-beauty look with make-up.
Skincare:
If you want to clear up your skin, you should always cleanse, tone and moisturize two times a day. That is a golden rule. And once a week you can exfoliate and have a mask. Just remember to use gentle cleansers (I reccomend Dermalogica) because they work much better than zit-killing washes from Clearsil.
Face make-up:
If you feel like you need foundation I would reccomend something that won’t clog pores or cause more pimples. I think that Neutrogena, Covergirl Clean make-up, Clinique and Dermalogica have good foundations that help skin breathe and are made for acne skin. Just make sure you get the right tone, because you could risk looking like an orange or a ghost with the wrong colour.
I usually apply foundation with a sponge, over my cheeks, nose and the middle of my forehead. After that I get a bronzing blusher (from Natures Minerals collection at Body Shop) and use a brush to put it on the apples of my cheeks and a dab on my nose. Then I finish off with some mattifying powder on my forehead and other parts that tend to get oily during the day.
Lip make-up
I usually wear a lipbalm and then spread a tiny bit of Body Shop lipgloss in the middle of my lip, and then dab it with a tissue, just to get that discreet gloss.
Eye make-up
I use Lancome’s black pencil eyeliner on the upper eyelid, by the lashes. To acheive a natural looking eyeliner, just stretch eyelid to hold it tight, and draw with it as near as possible to the lashes. I don’t usually put eyeliner on my lower lashline because I always smudge it during the day and then I tend to look like a raccoon. After eyeliner, I use Maybelline’s Colossal mascara. I waggle the wand side to side to create thicker lashes. I only mascara up my upper lashline.
As for eyeshadow colours that match dark brown eyes… I’m not so sure. If you just play around a bit (I raided my mother’s dressing table, but don’t get any influences!!) you should find your own look.
Just remember to keep natural. And ignore those ‘oh you’re too young to wear make-up blah blah’ comments, becuase if you wear your make-up right, it will look nice. And oh yeah, give your skin a break time to time. I usually don’t wear make-up on weekends unless there is a party or something, haha.
HAVE FUN!

I can understand why you would want to hide your acne. There are special creams and things you can get to help that. Your doctor cold help you with that. You don’t want it getting worse. As for make-up. You’re quite young to be wearing heavy make-up. I can’t say your too young to wear it at all coz I used to aswel. Don’t bronze your skin! If you want to use foundation to cover up your skin a bit then use a colour thats very similar to your natural colour. There are normally people to help you in shops with this. I use a Maybelline founation. You can also get a mouse foundation. It’s really light on your skin and feel nice. Use light coloured eye shadows, not dark colours. Maybe a bit eye liner on the bottom and a bit of mascara. The secret of make-up isn’t seeing that you’re wearing any but it still makes you look better. All you’re trying to do is make make you already have better.
Good luch and don’t go over the top.

well if your upset about your acne and want to cover it up i suggest you use some light foundation but don’t forget to use facial scrub and a moisturiser. I’m 15 and i use simple’s oil balancing facial scrub and it realy seems to work but you will just have to try different things as different things work for different faces. If you want to learn how to put eyeliner on your top lid why dont you go on youtube and search bubzbeauty as she has some really good makeup videos. And as for are you old enough, its your choice
