In the game Second Life, I play the avatar Juushika Redgrave.

My favorite colors are green and black. I have a bad habit of collecting cat paw tattoos. ETD Couture styles are currently 50% off. I think that about sums up this outfit. The shirts are from Iki–they come on all three shirt layers, in two length and transparencies, and so are great for matching and layering. I own them in black, of course, and in fawn, which is a tawny color that tints well. The pants are from Torrid as part of the Wired outfit, and so were of course on sale (all TorridWear clothes are about 50L). The shoes are the Flare Oxfords from Shiny Things. The detail on them is marvelous, they fit with most of my outfits, and as a result I wear them far too often.

Both the hair and tattoo are recent purchases–the hair is from ETD, one of the sale Couture styles. I love the Couture rust color, so I’ve been buying a lot of hair in that color pack before the color is discontinued forever. The tattoo is from a store that I believe is called Revelation (file name lists it at RV). The paw prints go up both sides of the body, and are nicely done–they warp around curves, but have no white halo or pixelization. I know nothing else about this store, but will check it out again soon. I own far too many cat paw tattoo sets, but I can’t help but buy a new set when I find it.

one pet peeve of mine is clothing that requires third party intervention. i bought this top because i like the mishmash of patterns. (it looks more interesting up close.) i thought i could live with the straps, but they just frustrated me all day.

for one thing, i hate bows. they’re ridiculous on anyone over the age of four. i tied these small and all the excess i tucked under my bra strap. that didn’t last long, and neither did the strength of my knots. i’ve been pulling them back up for some time now.

on a side note, that chest on the left was built by my grandfather. it has a ribbed rolling top like a secretary desk and is lined with mickey mouse contact paper (it was for my mom when she was young).

we watched dan in real life today. it was okay. i have an immense crush on steve carell, and i can watch anything as long as i have someone nice to look at. sweeney todd is next, which will be easy. i even made it through secret window which was, well, not that great. after that juno is left, and michael cera could get me through anything.
