Is your outfit – or the lack of it – still important ? Here, these two foreign tourists are planning to go inside Jerónimos Monastery, certainly to learn more about the Portuguese history and culture. However, I wonder if they succeeded, at least into the church… I am totally pro-casual dress, but there are some limits, no?

A roupa que se leva vestida – ou que não se leva – ainda é importante? Aqui, estes dois turistas estrangeiros planeiam entrar no Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, decerto para aprenderem mais sobre a história e cultura portuguesas. Mas pergunto-me se eles terão conseguido, pelo menos na igreja… Sou a favor de roupa informal, mas há limites, não?

Our VCE students ended their last day at school with a casual dress up, the teachers joined in too. Kim came dressed as a happy goth and I came in a Dutch costume. The wooden clogs from my kids that I hung around my neck attracted many questions and interest from the other students.
